Sherpa Owners Rally at De Rust Caravan Park

Business | News
Sherpa owners got together for a winter rally at De Rust Caravan Park in the Dinokeng Reserve in June.  A lovely restful time was had by all with all the Sherpa models on show from the Sherpa Tiny to the Sherpa Tiny Rough Roader, the Rambler as well as a Wanderer.  The De Rust Caravan Park was ideal for the rally with its large open spaces and choice of shaded or sunny spots.  These Sherpa owners rallies are becoming very popular with owners meeting fellow campers, swapping ideas and getting advice.  They are happening around the country and another one will be organised once this third wave of the pandemic is over.

The Waterberg Wilderness Reserve offers self-catering units comprising of Safari tents, private campsites with own ablutions and 3 campsites with shared ablutions. Campsites are each tucked away in the bush, providing you with tranquillity and privacy. Due to the rugged nature of the reserve which is typical of the Waterberg, a 4x4 vehicle or vehicle with good ground clearance is recommended to access the property. In the wet season a 4x4 vehicle is often essential. Certain areas of the reserve offer spectacular views over the surrounding hills and valleys and exploring the impressive gorges with natural streams and pools is certainly a highlight.
